Our safety storage solutions for lithium-ion batteries have the particularity of presenting numerous risks, the best known and most frequent of which is thermal runaway which can be due to an increase in environmental temperature, shock, or a battery assembly problem. The consequence is that the battery can catch fire dangerously and cause a fire.

Based on our experience and know-how on European standard EN 14470-1 90 minute fire-resistant cabinets, we offer several models of different sizes that can meet the most varied storage needs.

Flammable and/or explosive products must be stored in safety cabinets. EN 14470-1 cabinets have fire resistance to protect products from a possible fire. We offer fire resistances of 30, 60 or 90 minutes; the 30 and 90 minutes are also available in compartmentalized cabinets for the storage of different types of chemicals.

Furthermore, EN 14470-2 cabinets have a fire resistance of 30 minutes and help protect gas bottles in the event of a possible fire.

When you handle chemicals, your health is put at risk due to the release of toxic vapors or powders. In order to protect yourself and preserve your direct environment, you should handle your products in a recirculating air fume hood (formerly filtered air recycling toxic enclosure or ETRAF) equipped with either a molecular filter (filter activated carbon), or a particulate filter (HEPA filter), or both.
