ISO 45001 is the first international standard for occupational health and safety management systems, replacing OHSAS 18001. The ISO 45001 Lead Auditor training will enable you to acquire the expertise needed to conduct occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS) audits by applying generally recognized auditing principles, procedures, and techniques. During this training, you will acquire the knowledge and skills needed to plan and conduct internal and external audits in accordance with ISO 19011 and the ISO/IEC 17021-1 certification process. Through practical exercises, you will be able to master auditing techniques and develop the skills required to manage an audit program, an audit team, communication with clients, and conflict resolution. After acquiring the expertise needed to conduct this audit, you may take the examination and apply for the “PECB Certified ISO 45001 Lead Auditor” credential. The PECB certificate confirms that you have acquired the skills needed to audit organizations according to auditing best practices.
