First responder

First responder

Fire risks are a major concern for industrial and commercial companies. The presence of a flame generator, electrical equipment or flammable products requires a rapid and controlled response to limit human and material damage.

This first-response team training, delivered by ASP Consultancy, combines theory and practical exercises using a professional fire simulator, fire extinguisher handling and evacuation drills. Participants acquire the skills required to respond effectively, provide initial fire emergency assistance and ensure team safety in accordance with current regulations.

Training objectives

  • Identify the different types of risks (fire, hazardous product leaks, workplace accidents) that may require a first response
  • Understand the alert, evacuation and shelter-in-place procedures to implement immediately after an incident
  • Learn to use first-response equipment (fire extinguishers, emergency shutdown kits, extrication devices) safely and effectively
  • Learn the appropriate first-aid procedures for common on-site injuries (bleeding, burns, fractures) until professional emergency services arrive
